We’ve Packed
A Lot For You

With many years experience camping with and without kids in various climates and terrains, we have a good idea of what’s needed for camping comfortably.

Each vehicle comes with slightly different kit, so check out what will be included with yours.

Beautiful British
Columbia

Moving east across the Province you would start in the often wet Pacific Coast, moving inland across the majestic coastal mountains with high alpine lakes, into vistas of hilly grasslands and deserts climes of the interior and finally into the always impressive Rocky Mountains separating BC from Alberta.

As well, with our rentals you are free to roam across Canada and down through the entire US.

Research will be key to ensuring you pack the right clothes for your trip.  If possible, quick-dry light-weight with the option of adding layers will afford you the most flexibility and comfort.

We have found packing our personal stuff in waterproof duffle bags make the most sense and stack easily in the Jeeps and trailers.  Suitcases can work but you may find them awkward hauling up and down ladders or opening to dig for that last clean T-shirt.  If you travel with a suitcase and rent one of our duffles, we will be happy to store your suitcase for you at the shop and will patiently chat while you transfer your clothes and such.  Don’t worry, we’ll avert our eyes.

If you are travelling with kids, maybe give this post on Overland Bound a quick read about travelling with kids.  It recommends a few things that makes a long trip easier on the little ones.
